Non-baseball threads locked. What's your opinion?
I understand that this is "Baseball Fever" and the moderators job is to weed out noise and keep things on topic. And they do a great job, as this is one of the best forums (on any topic) out there. If you've visited other sports or team forums, you know what I mean.

That being said, I think taking away these few non-baseball threads actually de-values this section a bit. Everyone here is obviously into obscure, arcane details of all things stadia related. While for almost all of us this "obsession" (I mean that in the best sense) stems from basball parks, I for one am still interested in, for example, new meadowlands, new cowboys stadium, that hillside Mexican soccer thing, etc.
I'm sure there are football forums that will cover this as extensively as we are covering NYS and Citi for example. I don't expect to see a Cowboys relocation thread or a best food stand at Lucas Oli stadium thread here, but I think the occasional non-baseball entry on something as noteworthy as these topics are a welcome addition.
I'm not suggesting you re-write the rules of this forum, just use a little subjectivity when a topic like this pops up. Even with these few non-baseball threads, things still seem to be 99% "compliant" with the baseball only rule. Maybe a vote if something is borderline acceptable? This is a community, right? I'd much rather have something like the cowboy stadium construction thread that's non-baseball related, than something like "whats the best way to get to yankee stadium" that is baseball related. While those sort of questions do have a place here (don't mean to suggest you start picking and choosing which threads are better than others), I'm 1000% more interested in the stadium construction photos that may not be baseball related.
I can't come up with any baseball connection to justify keeping these here. Just that we've all created this monster and if theres an occasional non-baseball thread of note that finds its way here, I think that just adds a drop of diversity.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. Thanks all, and keep up the good work.
