I just finished my annual article on the major league equivalents of players who are free agents, likely to be posted or are "players to watch". I'll spare the details, but I'm using new standards for the "players to watch", and so there's a lot more coverage on this topic. I put a note on SABR-L, which is how I guess he saw it. Anyway, every author likes to have his work read, and I'm no exception.

Also, Darvish's ERAs are a bit lower than they should be, as I used a fixed .062 unearned run per IP, which is too high for a guy allowing as few runs as Darvish.

I came up with a better way of figuring ER, and so I'll be editing the article to reflect the new approach. It won't mean a great deal except for guys who allow very few runs, though, like Darvish or Fujikawa.
