    Organization/tracking question

    Hi Guys,

There may in fact be an old thread on this, but I cannot find it. I wanted to see how you guys track cards of a certain player/set that you collect.

The only player who I collect exclusively is Tino Martinez. I have over 800 different cards of his. Beckett.com's Organize section used to be simple, where I could just check off what I have and still see what I am missing. Since then, in my opinion the site has become VERY tedious and difficult to use. I have to enter every card in one by one, and I don't have a way of seeing a complete checklist to track what I am missing.

To all who collect a single player, is there a website or software that you use to easily manage and track what you have and what you need? Maybe beckett.com is the answer and I'm using it wrong, but I'm basically just looking for a really big, easy to track checklist.

Thanks in advance for any responses!

    AJ

Try this site for tracking your Tino Martinez collection: http://www.markwing.com/baseball/playerResults.php

You can pull the list by an Excel spreadsheet, which I find the easiest to use for tracking purposes. Good Luck and if you want me to pull my Tino cards, let me know and I will see if there are any cards that you don't have.

Thanks DMB, that's really helpful. At first glance it seems like almost everything is there outside of Yankee Stadium Legacy cards and some minor league/oddballs. Really appreciate the link, and I'll be sure to post a spreadsheet in the 'personal collection' section to show you guys what I am missing.

    Thanks again.

You're welcome. I'm glad that I could help. The owner of that site has been good about updating it for newer cards. I would just continue to check it periodically. I'll look for your list and let you know what I may have that you need.

There was a thread about this last year, but I can't find it. The link Tim provided is a good one also.

What you're missing is that once you search for the player, you can just click the + next to their name and add all their cards to your My Organize at once.
