Are you listing your tix directly on SH or through the Mets Ticket Marketplace? I'm trying to do the latter and that's when it fails. I've been able to list directly on SH but using the Marketplace allows me to list the tix as available for instant eDelivery (up to 2 hrs before gametime).

John, I suspect the bar codes haven't been assigned yet and therefore can't be set up for e-transfer.

Johnql: Are you sure that's going to be McFaddens? No way that will be done by Opening Day. They're gonna have to get the Extreme Home Makeover people in there to finish that in a month and a half.

Life just gets better and better...

    Dear Mets Season Ticket Holder:

Thank you for your Mets Season Ticket purchase for 2010. We appreciate your support.

As part of your expanded Season Ticket Holder benefits, we are excited to offer you -- our most loyal fans -- a special audition for the opportunity to sing the National Anthem before a Mets game at Citi Field.
Each Season Ticket Holder can try out individually, as part of a group, or you may give your audition spot to a family member.

These Season Ticket Holder auditions will take place Tuesday, March 9 at Citi Field starting at 11:00 a.m. Individuals or groups auditioning should be prepared to sing a song of their choice -- excluding the National Anthem -- a cappella (without musical accompaniment). Finalists will advance to the final round at Citi Field in the weeks ahead.

Please call your Account Executive directly or through our Ticket Office at (718) 507-TIXX by Monday, March 1 to reserve your spot. We will be happy to provide further details and answer any questions.

Thanks again for your support. We hope to see you at auditions.

    Sincerely,
    William Ianniciello
Vice President, Ticket Sales and Services

    Go to this link:

    http://newyork.mets.mlb.com/ticketin...d=SH_NYM_dhtml

Then, scroll down to where it says "Buy/Sell Tickets on StubHub". There are 3 buttons there. Use the first one on the left: "Mets Season & Plan Ticket Holders - Sell Tickets". That will take you to the Mets Ticket Marketplace.

You're probably right but I don't understand why access was provided if it doesn't work the way it's supposed to work.

No, I'm not 100% certain. However, that was the only place with work going on in the location that was reported by Metsblog ("located on the corner beyond center field, off 126th Street"). I agree - based on what I saw, there's no way it could be ready by Opening Day.

Interesting how the audition for singing the anthem involves NOT singing the anthem. I guess they're afraid of getting sick of hearing the same song over and over again.

I wonder if they will have a gong handy?

So.... Who's going to actually do this? (I may)

For less than 1/4 of what it would have cost me for 1 - $20,000 PSL to keep one of my seats for the Jets, I bit the bullet on 2 FST for the 2010-2011 Knicks. Had to cough up a $500 deposit. Rep said there will be between a 6 and 9 payment plan. Section 313, row K, aisle seats 11 &12 - $56 a ticket. Guy directly accross the aisle, 5 feet away from me is paying $74 a seat. Had to go for it... Didn't want to be kicking myself in the a** come July 1.

I would like to sing the Nutopian National Anthem at the City Field's stadium before a "Mets" game in 2010.

Anyone else getting a StubHub page load error message when they try to post their tickets through the marketplace?

Edit: Nevermind. I see john is having the same problem.

No Opening Day/Yankees Lottery this year? Nothing announced for that yet and March 7 is only 14 days away. Usually they give at least that much time for entries.

This is a better decision on their part.
Remember, they have these 'packs' this year, and they are also selling 40-game plan holders and equal amount of opening day tickets... So, what they've done is eliminated the lottery and replaced it with six-packs...

I still wouldn't worry. There will be blocks of seats released as single game sales as the season goes along.

    Cheers!

I guess since demand is so low fans can pickup any game
next would be discount codes during the season.

I actually like this setup. I've only won the lottery once and that was a "second chance" lottery for Yankee tickets.

Never had a problem getting single game OD tickets before lotteries.

I hate that the past 2 years they've gone away from giving the magnet out on opening day - I've been collecting them since 2004 (have been going since 98 but never thought to keep them til 04).

Magnetic Schedule presented by Pepsi -- Fans will be able to keep track of Mets matchups through the season with a magnetic schedule, presented by Pepsi, which will be given away to the first 25,000 fans attending the Friday, April 9 game versus the Washington Nationals at 7:10 p.m

I personally don't like the 300's section, especially when you are that high up and only a few rows from the $25.00 seats. The Knicks have been putting scare tactics on the ticketholders for this season and McGrady finally gave them some good leverage to get more sales. I still think they will have partial plans, but to do a full season on a 9 payment plan seems crazy in those seats. The state of the Garden is also a little depressing...

Interesting that there's no Build-A-Bear Day (Night) on the initial promo list. They've had it for what, 6 or 7 years running? I was hoping it'd be on Sat 7/31 , and I guess unless they've killed that promo tie-in it still could be...
