I'm probably selling 2 of my 4 seats.

Very bummed about this weekend's forecast. Was taking the family two weeks ago but that one got rained out and had been planning on this fri night.
My daughter's gonna real disappointed if she doesn't get to Shea again.
On top of that I got myself a pair of baseline box seats for Sat's game. Figured I'd do Shea in style one last time. Now that's looking like a washout too. Dammit.

I forget, did you sell Sunday last game tickets? I don't care if they play another "last" game on Monday. The ceremonies will be on Sunday and a) hopefully we lock up a spot by then, and b) I UNFORTUNATELY cannot attend ANY game on Monday...so they better not need a 1-game play-in that day either.

Depending on how fine tuned the forecast is, I could see them waiting ALL DAY to play on Saturday if they have to. It's scheduled for a 1:10 PM start, but the game might start at 8 PM.

That would be much fun then, considering I'm using my tickets for tomorrow and Saturday, and probably grilling before Saturday's game, turn into an all day at Shea marathon. Ohh boy.

Let's face it, even with rainouts and everything, we are going to have to play 5 games... Whenever they may be...

Honestly....I cant deal with rainouts right now...

I need these 5 days over with one way or another so my brain can start functioning (quasi) normally again....

Its like I have a freaking neon sign in my head flashing "Mets....Mets....Mets"...

Same here... I can't focus on work as I'm too busy thinking about tonight's game... Man is Ollie P. pitching for a contract tonight...

But weather is going to play a major role this week for both the Mets and Phillies...

However the Philly weather looks 100x better then the NY weather for those days. We'll see how it plays out.

Not really... The chance of rain is 70% as opposed to here where it is 90%...

Holy smokes. I was blaming myself ! I bought tickets for the 9/12 game to take my dad. RAIN. So I bought 9/26 tickets and it looks like RAIN. I wonder, just wonder if somehow I can get tickets for one of these rain days (presuming Friday's forecast) for MONDAY in the daytime. Either a makeup vs the Cubs, or a one game playoff vs the Brewers.
Think the Mets would cash a raincheck for Monday ????

I check Weather Underground (not the terrorist group...) Forecasts are pretty ominous...

Saw someone post this on Metsblog and it's VERY interesting...
Imagine going on Sunday to 'The Final Game at Shea' and going throrough all the ceremony and the Mets taking down the number to reveal the number of games left '2'... LOL

    Very real possibility...

Probably a raincheck if it's a Cubbies make up game...

    Are you suprized?...I mean...are you?

I KNEW 6 months ago the weather would suck for the final weekend, and that it would be gorgeous for the All Star Game/Final game at Yankee Stadium....its just the way it works...

Anyone else think that God took year long naps in 1969 and 1986? Its honestly the only explaination I can come up with....

You know who besides Roger Clemens I also missed on the jumbotron when they showed the greatest Yankees of all time? Satan.

Anyone have any idea what happens if the Mets, Phils and Brewers are all tied at the end of the regular season?

    Thats hysterical...

But youre wrong. God is a Yankees fan. Satan is a Cubs or a Mets...

I loved that Morgan Freeman wore a Yankees hat in Bruce Almighty...

Mets play the Phillies in Philly, in a 1 game in playoff for the division, the next day, the loser of that game would host the Brewers for the wild card

Ugh.. Makes my head spin... I just want to reduce our magic number... Get it to 1 so we clinch at least a tie...
