Anyone know what time the doors open today? I want to get in there pretty early to look around, just in case they call the game.

I believe someone mentioned you can exchange the tickets for a regular season game if it does get rained out, so that ain't bad so long as they let me wander the stadium before calling the game

Yeah, you can exchange your fri tix for a regular season game. Sounds like you win either way!

Yeah, they did tons of stuff. They had a couple interviews with Mets staff about the field, did sports reporting from outside Citi, and even ate Mama's of Corona pastries with a faux Citi Field background.

Just talked to the ticket office-- Tonight I have 9 seats in the Wheel Chair section-- called to check what was available in WC for tomorrow afternoon-- I figured at $8 a pop, it was worth the risk--

The rep told me that "word around the office" was:

"The game is going to be played-- even if it is still a little rainy, it is supposed to be much lighter later... even if they have to delay a bit"

Even though there were plenty of WC seats left for tomorrow's game...He actually advised me NOT to buy tickets just yet!

Hey, even if they only play like 5 innings it's all good

If you heard Jeff Wilpon call into Boomer and Carton he told them that thery had no one to throw out the first pitch tonight so Jeff said for them to pick someone who calls in and is already a ticket holder for tonight to throw out pitch #1.

He also confirmed that a woman would be singing the National Anthem on Opening Night.

Call me crazy but I'd like tonights game to go 9 innings with the Mets ending it on a walk-off.

Jeff Wilpon said on WFAN they have nobody to throw out the first pitch tonight. He called WFAN and asked Boomer & Carton to run a contest to throw out the first pitch tonight. So some Joe Schmo will be throwing out the first pitch. How could the Mets not have someone lined up to throw out the pitch?

So if anyone wants the chance call WFAN, just have a good arm!!

Well, I was the only bidder so hopefully I didn't pay too much more than what it would cost at the warehouse.

Dude... Don't be a jerk and bash... It's a really neat thing to do... Why have someone big throw out the first pitch, the Grand Opening is on April 13?

Think about the ovation Buckner would receive were he to throw out the first pitch.
