I'd like to see some good pictures of the concourses. I take it the great hall is separate from the seating area concourse?

Did no one take pictures the last 2 days?
What's with all the empty seats in the lower deck?![]()
I'll be sitting in the section behind the one with all the empty seats. First row behind the wall. So if u guys want any paticular shots from that seat let me know.
I was staring at the OYS replica on my desk, and had these ideas. I'm not sure if either has been discussed at all on the forums (it's likely, but I'm new here, and don't know), and whether they were ever part of the plans when designing the new stadium. Forgive the crude Photoshop pictures... I'm not exactly an expert.
The first is to add back the dirt path from the dugout to home that used to be in the old stadium. Was this removed after the renovations in the 70s, or when did they get rid of it? With the signature NY logo now behind home plate, it may look a bit odd, but who knows.
Do any other ballparks currently have this? I know a few have the line connecting the pitcher's mound and the home plate area, but don't know if any have these sort of walkup lanes.
The second idea is to add more limestone along the outside. I'm not sure if this was a budget concern, but with a price of $1.5 billion, I don't think they were too worried about costs. I think it looks nicer than how the stadium currently looks (well, my Photoshop rendition looks horrible, but if done right it'd look great). And I think it brings back a little more of the old stadium.
Here's a shot of the old stadium for comparison:

WOW, talk about a cheap home run.
I'm currently in the process of uploading all the pictures that I took yesterday, including all the pictures I took of Monument Park and the Yankees Museum. I have no clue how long it'll take (306 pictures totaling a size of 932MB). As soon as they're all up, I'll post the link.
First Game at Yankee Stadium: July 15, 1997 vs. Cleveland Indians (W, 12-6)

Looks like that 9-run inning the Indians had the other day won't end up being the record for long. Good chance of them putting up a 10-spot here today in the 2nd.
It's still early, but if this score remains roughly the same, 3 blowouts in a week is pretty tough to watch.
Edit: Well the grand-slam will do it. 13 runs now in the 2nd inning. The ball seems to be carrying a lot. The grand slam barely cleared the wall, like most of the homeruns so far today. If this is how the ball will normally carry, games will be very frustrating to watch, because it seems like regular popups are drifting over the wall.
Edit 2: Another HR. 14 runs now in the 2nd. I have to try and laugh just to keep myself from crying.

WOW that was a cheap grandslam
Sorry, but that right field wall is a problem. They need to take out a few rows because I can probably hit a home run there.
Wow................
This may become the biggest bandbox in all of MLB - especially to RF/RCF. Wow, pop ups are flying out in April, wait for the humid weather and dog days of August
