Sal Maglie pic as Pilots' coach

Nice shot from the University of Washington files, although they apparently incorrectly list this as being the Sicks' Stadium dugout. Any idea what park this really is?

  2. I think you have a picture of Frank Crosetti.

  3. Crosetti for sure

Check out my Twins autograph collection at www.twinscards.com. My autographs to trade at http://www.angelfire.com/ultra/ake/b...trade_list.htm

  4. The "Ol' Crow" was mentioned prominently in Jim Bouton's book, Ball Four. Frank was far from being a favorite of the author, as I recall. :-)

Here's "The Barber" as a Pilot, thinking about ways to second-guess pitch selection.

They clashed a bit professionally, but I always felt like it came through his writing that Jim sort of liked and respected Maglie.

Conversely, Jim really seemed to have no use for Crosetti, (and vice versa), going back to their days with the Yankees.
