    This was next year.

    54 years ago today the Brooklyn Dodgers won the World Championship.

    Congrats to Brooklyn and the great fans who keep the torch lighted!

    No wild cards, no strikes, just winner take all! Those were the days, and they live forever in the hearts of many. A signature moment in baseball history that will never be forgotten.
