Thread: Former Milwaukee Braves catcher Bob Roselli passes away

  1. Former Milwaukee Braves catcher Bob Roselli passes away

I read on another forum that Bob Roselli has passed away. He played in 11 games for the Braves over the course of three seasons: 1955, 1956 and 1958. I thought someone here might care.

I'm looking at his BB-Ref page, now. He had a couple of longer 20-30 game type stints with the White Sox in '61 and '62.

Interesting, the Braves and White Sox were the teams I followed as a kid in the early 60's, but I don't even remember him. Oh well...
White Sox announcer Harry Caray- "Jimmy, I saw Stan Musial hit five home runs in a doubleheader".

White Sox announcer Jimmy Piersall-"So what? I had nine kids."
