I came here today to share a story I read about in the newspaper today and I think says a whole lot about the baseball world that we sometimes forget to remember or see in all of our "No, my way is best" posts that infest this site so.
I've never been a Yankee fan, but after learning about this . . . I may just have found a little corner of my heart for them . . . here's the story . . .

Granny said Sonny stick to your guns if you believe in something no matter what. Because it's better to be hated for who you are than to be loved for who you're not. I rule his pathetic life!
Great story. If one takes the time to look, even "the most hated" teams have a bunch of good guys.
BTW, I usually hate the Yankees.
