It’s worth noting that the Marlins signed infielder Danny Richar to a minor-league deal that would include a $410,000 salary. Richar, a .229 career hitter in 79 career games, could provide additional infield depth if Uggla is dealt. But the Marlins also will look hard at Emilio Bonifacio, who is batting .268 with a .350 on-base percentage in the Dominican winter league.
