I just got 76/126 on the 20-year players. I'm also sure that the people who got all 126 right might just have baseball-reference.com open in another tab...

Got a 100% on this one, guessed a few times though. http://www.sporcle.com/games/worldseries.php

All 105 World Series winners with 1:55 remaining. My mind is a vast database of useless information.

Great quiz. Some of the names on here are downright embarrasing. I'd love to ask the 22% who didn't vote for Rogers Hornsby to explain themselves. Too bad they are probably all dead by now.

I had 7:59 remaining, I credit most of it to knowing when the Yankees have won!

And that was the 5th year he was on the ballot too (1942). My suspicion is that there were so many good players from past years when they first started electing HOFers in 1936 that it took a while even for great players like Hornsby to make the 75% cut. Also, there was the matter that he played until 1937, meaning he was on the HOF ballot during the last two seasons of his career. Maybe they were waiting to make sure he was done playing.

Here's a rather clever quiz I happened across:

    http://www.sporcle.com/games/Skyroller/MLB_team

I'm not sure how he made it like that, but I'd be interested to know.

Well, I've maxed out my Sporcle quota for the month, so here are my last quizzes for a while. Good luck!

I got annoyed with the 7 quiz per month limit, so I created an alternate persona. Here's another quiz:

Most Career Hits Among Active Players
    http://www.sporcle.com/games/DJC_83/activehits

    modeled after this quiz:

I haven't had a chance to make any quizzes lately, but I plan to make one soon regarding MLB players real first names (ex. Sandy Koufax is Sanford, Chipper Jones is Larry, etc...), might be too difficult though for it to be worth the time. What do you think?

No, I think that's a great idea. Babe Ruth, Rabbit Maranville, Cap Anson, Dizzy Dean -- there's a ton of players out there who are known far better by their nickname. Go for it!

Maybe GiambiJuice could do some of the lesser known players.

Oh well, there goes my idea... I'll think of something else. My .450 OBP quiz was very popular but for some reason the .625 SLG didn't quite catch on. There must be some trick to getting a lot of plays. Maybe if you put it up right at midnight, it will be easier to get on the "most played today" list rather than putting one up in the middle of the day.

I've been wanting for somebody to make this quiz for awhile: http://www.sporcle.com/games/swartzs...ons_since_2000

I only got 96/125 but i'm sure I could have done better with some more time.
