Thurston vs Conrad

Who do you think is the better choice for the 2010 season?

I pick Joe Thurston, not only is he having a little bit better spring than Conrad, but he also had a ton of major league experience with the Cardinals last year playing in the 124 games and he can also play the outfield.

Conrad in 73 ABs is hitting .192 .... 234 OBP

Thurston in 333 ABs .225 avg... .306 OBP

I'll take Conrad.

Both on right on that AAAA/useful major league bench player line. Conrad's below average defense and potential power is much more attractive then Thurston's average defense (given at more positions) and slap hitters bat.

I would like to see Conrad get the job, but a part of me thinks Thurston's going to get it.
