Question 2010 - Buckle up, Houston fans

I'll just say it - we look awful. I knew we had a lot of problems in the off-season, but this is not looking like much fun at MMP at the moment.

Let's go ahead and make some positive predictions..........I'll wait a few days to hear from the rest who are interested.

    Best pitcher for 2010?
    Best hitter for 2010?
    Most improved for 2010?

    Go for it.

Pretty bad when over a week goes by and there's nothing to talk about, eh?

Best Pitcher... Roy Oswalt would love to see Bud Norris come out of nowhere and win 15 games.
Best Hitter... Berkman, even with the time off he is due to bounce back. I HOPE
Most Improved.... Hard to say I would like to say Bourn, but he had a good year last year, maybe he will be great this year. I guess last year he was most improved.
How about a wild card, Matsui gets hurt or benched and Jeff Keppinger is your second baseman and most improved.

Pitcher: How can you bet against Oswalt? 0-2 start, so what? He'll bounce back.
Hitter: I'm going out on a limb here and say Bourn. I think he'll continue to improve and put up his best numbers yet in '10.
Most Improved: I'm sticking with Oswalt on this one.

I said he was going to bounce back. Sven innings pitched , five hits, and no earned runs versus the Cubs on Saturday. Not bad at all.

Ahhh, but Darren, I predicted Wandy to be the ace last year, and look what happened!
If Oswalt/Rodriguez can't put it together, we are doomed. No shot for a WC at all.

Best hitter for 2010: Lee (again)

    Pitcher: Wandy
    Hitter: Pence, despite slow start
Improved: Brett Myers (I don't know... couldn't think of anyone obvious)
