I haven't read it, but I heard this was outstanding on just the subject you describe:
It's the Baseball playbook by Ron Polk

What age level? For 14 and up Polk book is great.

for balks and pickoffs the absolute best if the Jim Evans DVD. It will make you an expert!

This is a great book for the younger age groups.

For the older ones, as stated, Polk's book is a must read.

Got a couple of old books: "The Official Major League Baseball Playbook" by Chuck Tanner and Jim Enright, 1974, and "The Complete Book of Baseball Instruction" by Dell Bethel, 1978.
