Situational batter runs ?

In a few other places, some are referring to situational batter runs, as a fine calculation for a hitter's worth.

I cant seem to find any sources/sites which detail this item.

Anyone familiar with it, or who might be able to direct me to a site ?

Hi, jaxxr - Its sounds to me like the advanced batting stats at FanGraphs are what you're looking for.

They have a series of batting statistics under the general category of Win Probability. These are based on the 24 base-out situational grid for current play; and they measure batter performance from a BEFORE and AFTER value for each situation in which a player came to the plate.

One of these stats accumulates the net + and - over entire seasons, or seasons to date.
