Thanks! I have a few others like it...but not sure of the best ways to go about posting...I guess in individual ballparks' threads (I have been to about 12 different ballparks in the last couple of years...and this is the first site I've found to really pick up a lot of good information on these places).

Hard to believe that Dodger Stadium is now the 3rd oldest MLB ballpark behind Fenway and Wrigley.

Philtration, those are some really great shots!

My favorite has to be the one from the original club level. That's one part of the park I haven't gotten a chance to visit. They only saved a small portion, the rest are luxury suites.

You didn't show anything from the '65 World Series, so it's all good! Especially the 1981 World Series against the evil team from the other coast.

That was a winter sports exhibition event held at the stadium, complete with full-sized ski jump. I think that was from 1962.

How much in NY, Chi, StL, SF?

These seats behind home plate are $4 season, $9 regular. Where else in baseball can you get an upper deck seat behind home plate for $4?

Great photos. Can you believe some who have played at Dodger Stadium have personally told me it is a dump? This was from people who live there!

I think Dodger Stadium is great. All these awesome photos are making me want to plan a model after I complete my '64 Shea Stadium model.

Meh. Today's players consider any stadium a dump that doesn't have a 5000 sq ft clubhouse with plasma screens built into the lockers.

Here's a nice Dodger Stadium fantasy model from the Dream stadium guy.

Personally, I think the Dream Stadium guys' model of Dodger Stadium stinks.

I betcha Astros can do better with his eyes closed.

ALSO, you can get those Top Deck seats for even cheaper on StubHub.

We get it. You hate the Yankees. You've told us time and time again. In many threads.

I was just at the game last night and I noticed in the Stadium Operations office has a great model of Dodger Stadium. It's a great place to watch a game! They've done a decent job of modernizing the stadium. Outside the office is a picture of a Dodger player helping cut up the curtain from the days at the Coliseum.

Dodger Stadium gets its own ZIP code
Postal Service designates ballpark, property at 90090
By Ken Gurnick / MLB.com

LOS ANGELES -- The U.S. Postal Service will designate Dodger Stadium and the associated property with a new signature ZIP code, 90090, the club announced Thursday.

The official unveiling will take place Saturday, June 6, before the Dodgers' 1:10 p.m. PT game with Philadelphia.

"Not only do more than three million citizens call Dodger Stadium their summer home each year but fans from all over the world send cards and letters to the Dodgers organization and their favorite players," said Gregory G. Graves, the Postal Service's district manager for Los Angeles, in a statement released by the club.

"ZIP codes are as important to the Postal Service as a smooth, accurate delivery is for a pitcher in baseball. The use of 90090 will assure fans of all ages that their mail will be delivered quickly and efficiently."

Dodgers CEO Jamie McCourt, instrumental in obtaining the unique code, encouraged fans to write letters to their favorite players, mailed to Dodgertown, Calif. 90090.

"We welcome letters in any language, from any person, anywhere in the world," McCourt said. "Baseball is a universal language; baseball is a unifying language."

Ken Gurnick is a reporter for MLB.com. This story was not subject to the approval of Major League Baseball or its clubs.

And in related news, a special postal cancellation will be available at Dodger Stadium. From the Virtual Stamp Club...
The Los Angeles Dodgers will unveil their new “Dodgertown 90090” logo at a ceremony in Dodger Stadium on Saturday, June 6, 2009, prior to their 1:10 PM game against the Philadelphia Phillies.

In October, 2008, the Los Angeles City Council officially named Dodger Stadium and its associated property as “Dodgertown”. Now, the United States Postal Service will designate Dodgertown with its own zip code . . .90090.

The USPS will have a postal mobile unit at Dodger Stadium on June 6. It will be located by the Left Field/Reserve section, just outside the stadium next to Parking Lot B. At approximately 11:00 AM, USPS personnel will begin selling stamps, envelopes, and Dodgertown Postal Memorabilia. A special “Dodgertown 90090” cancel will be available there, so that collectors and the general public may have their envelopes and other memorabilia cancelled. A parking fee will be charged to enter any parking area. In addition, for those Dodger fans that will be attending the game, there will be two other areas inside the stadium at which stamps and memorabilia will be sold, and at which items may be cancelled. These two areas are located on the Field Level and on the Club Level.

Collectors and others who will be unable to attend this event on June 6 have 90 days to get their envelopes cancelled by mailing them to the following address:

Alvetia E. Smith/Manager Special Events
7001 S. Central Ave.
Room 338
Los Angeles, Ca 90052-9996

Why? I think it's a good representation of how some good, relatively minor renovations can turn out. The changes suggested in that model (other than the lack of being built into a hill, which he did to show what a hypothetical exterior of Dodger Stadium would look like) would be so much better than the actual proposed Dodger Stadium renovations.

It just rubs me the wrong way.

The only major change I could spot with my eye was the faux Mohegan Sports Bar right in the batters eye. And they could never put anything in that area because that's the emergency access road paramedics use. It was most recently utilized last year when an umpire was knocked unconscious during a game.

How much

is parking normally? I'm actually planning a trip to LA for next month for the Dodger-Astro into the Dodger-Reds series. Looking for a cheap hotel (100 dollars a night and below) as close to the stadium as I can get because I haven't been to LA in about 8 years and I have no idea how to get around anymore. Any suggestions?

Extended Stay america near the Burbank airport. Should be about $80 and you hop on I-5 right down to the stadium in about 15 minutes.
