This was brought up yesterday and I had it in the back of my mind at the end of last night's game. As the final out was recorded I looked down at my watch and thought "yep, right on schedule".

The Red Sox are disappointed. If they were playing the Yankees, it'd be finishing 4:05 every night.

Seriously though, this is pretty darn good. How long is the Super Bowl usually? I'd take the over.

Strange....ESPN was reporting that MLB was complaining that Posada and Molina are slowing down the game with their trips to the mound.

Posada had eight trips to the mound in one inning when CC was pitching!

I had no idea the games were all averaging almost 3:30, but then I've yet to make it all the way through any of the games.

50 years ago,Game 7 of the 1960 WS, Pirates beat the Yanks in bottom of the 9th to win, 10-9. Time of game: 2:36. 10-9, 2:36.

And yet the time of each game is pretty much the same. Honestly don't see what the big deal is. It doesn't happen all the time.

If folks want to start nitpicking at the catcher for coming out....why not get on the batters for doing their routines EVERY SINGLE AT-BAT and constantly stepping out?

How long is an in-between inning commercial break? I tried to time it a couple of years ago and ended up with 2 minutes and 30ish seconds.

Is the pitching change commericial break as long as the in-between inning commercial break?

I've seen plenty of people complain about that here.
