Seriously.. both stadiums are going to be amazing, for different reasons. To compare them, especially when they aren't complete and we haven't been to either yet... completely ridiculous.

My bad too. But, seriously both will be amazing and to compare the two is ridiculous because they're both so different.

Guys let's face it here, there's no way to have a A vs. B conversation here with Yankee Stadium(2009) vs. Citi Field, you can't make a comparison saying one is better than the other. Just realize that.
Now can we redirect this back towards pictures and features of our beautiful new ballpark? |

If I might paraphrase someone (I can't even remember who i'm paraphrasing???? w'suwt?), I think it might have been W.C. Fields but I wouldn't swear to it, I've never met with, or ran into a ballpark I didn't like.

The old stadium was plastered in advertisments for 85 years why would this be any different. The Yankees had the same type of advertising deal with Addidas since the late '90s that they have with BoA in the new park. That never made the old park any less regal, the huge wall of advertisements in the outfield of the original stadium didn't make it any less regal, the advertisements in the new park won't make it any less regal. Give me a break, face it, unless you live in a bubble, you know that advertisements are a huge part of professional sports, they always have and always will.

![]() Seriously, have you ever been to a ballpark? If you can't deal with ads I can only assume you've been watching games in a cloister. |

If you ever want to see how bland and dead a stadium can look without ads, look at any 60s cookie cutter, and look at Renovated Yankee Stadium before they put up the ads on the walls in front of the bleachers, the fences, etc. I don't believe in overdoing advertising space, but some well-placed ads can really enhance the look of a ballpark. |

This just about confirms that what on the blueprints was an open-to-everyone food court on the Terrace-level concourse above gate 4 has become the exclusive Terrace Suite Lounge.
![]() Will there be any exclusive area for the non-premium full and partial season ticketholders? |

I called the Yankee Office to make an appointment. The Yankee Rep. said it was by appointment only for security reasons. I have more pictures. I'll try and download them tonight. Those suites are going to be really, really nice. What surprised me though was the fact that the club suite level doesn't include free food and beverages. And each suite cost $600,000/per year! He said food and beverages would be approx. $50,000 extra! If I'm paying $600,000 a year I better get free food, and free everything! I also want to meet Jeter and Sabathia (Hint, hint) after the game.
