I have authentic baseball from the Evangeline League with the signature of Robert Barton, who is my uncle. He was a left hand pitcher signed by the St. Louis Browns in 1941/42, served in the army in 43. I'm certain he did not play for the Browns. I would like to know if in fact he played for this league or other farm teams associated with the Browns. Is there a book/rooster that could give me this info?. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
