this Jersey was probably made by Ruth's old Orphanage St. Mary's It is rumored they made a few for him during his retirement around 1941 thru 1946. it has been re-tailored so my bet is from 1946 when he went to Mexico but I have come to wall on authenticating this. $1000.00 offered for a pic showing Babe Ruth wearing this.
