Ichiro has rebounded with the bat by playing a little less than full-time as he sat against certain lefties. Strategic usage is what enabled Stan Musial and Ted Williams to finish their careers strong. Ichiro is still a good defender and a very good baserunner. With his ability to play all 3 OF slots and hit righties he would make the ideal 4th. OFer for a contender. Whether the Yankees with their aging roster are the best place for Ichiro is uncertain. Furthermore, Ichiro will NOT be making $18 in 2013.
