  • O's ace in 2010

Since we've got one up for 2009, I figured I'd make one for the year when the Orioles actually might have a chance to be sort of good.

EDIT: I got a little carried away with the choices, so I decided to change it to multiple choice and make it the O's 2010 rotation, instead of just ace. JW, if you could please change the title of the thread, and if possible, the poll question, it'd be much appreciated.

Yah definitely a little carried away with choices, hah. Think you gotta go with Guthrie at this point, or Loewen. Guthrie atl least has the experience on his side.
    Bring Teixeira to OPACY!
And put Baltimore back on the road jerseys at every other stadium!

Although someone like Arrieta or Tillman may be asserting themselves by 2010, the "ace" of the staff will likely still be someone established. This means Guthrie or Loewen. McPhail has stated he wants to invest FA money in bats and cultivate pitching, so I doubt we'll be bringing in an "ace".

Also, is there any reason why this is a multiple choice poll? The numbers are already messed up.

Since we're talkin' 2010, by then it could be Dennis Sarfate. Too early to call.
