Orioles Add Cintron to Infield Mix

I remember someone asking about this... well, there he is.

Alex Cintron

Cintron is a .277 hitter but doesn't offer a whole lot past that. He is a switch hitter. I think he's a great addition to the Tides roster (as noted he'll play SS next to Mike Costanzo) but is reserve material on the MLB roster. Then again that's pretty much what we have now.

Overall this is another good, solid move of little consequence.

Wouldn't mind seeing him instead of Hernandez.

As of 4/14, Cintron has not played for Norfolk. Scott Moore has started at SS the last two days, so he might be Hernandez's succesor.
