  • BBF Red Sox Hall of Fame

Welcome to the BBF Red Sox Hall of Fame.

    Here are the rules:

Anyone who posts regularly in the Red Sox forum is welcome to vote.

We will elect two members every week until we start electing guys who have no place.

Vote based on each player's contribution to the Red Sox as a player. Only vote based on their time with the Red Sox. e.g. we should not see Babe Ruth first place on the first ballot.

Name five players on each ballot who you would like to elect. Points will be set up like this:

    First place: 15
    Second place: 12
    Third place: 8
    Fourth place: 4
    Fifth place: 1

    PLAYERS INDUCTED

    Ted Williams
    Carl Yastrzemski
    Cy Young
    Roger Clemens
    Jimmie Foxx
    Wade Boggs
    Pedro Martinez
    Bobby Doerr
    Carlton Fisk
    Tris Speaker

        Two questions...

        1) Are active players eligible?

        2) Will there be a separate contributors ballot?

Williams and Yaz seem the auto-winners now. Why only two per month?

Remember, this is only based on their contribution to the Red Sox, not their entire career.
