    Loretta is a very solid 2Bman, he definitely won't hurt the Sox. That was a very nice trade the Sox pulled off to get him. Any team has to jump at getting a solid 2Bman for a backup catcher.

      Exactly. While trading Doug does remove a catcher that has caught our knuckball pitcher very well the past two seasons. You still deal a back-up catcher for a starting 2B, who has ability to hit 300. plus and also play very good 2B, any day of the week.

      I know what we're getting in Loretta and hope he's very successful in Boston like Mueller was.
