A friend of mine parks on what he says is an extension of Newbury Street that is just over the bridge from Fenway, but he hasn't been able to explain to me how to get there. He knows the area like the back of his hand and just weaves his way there. Occasionally, the street is full and he has to pay for a garage.
I just park at Alewife and take the T. Have to change trains, but Route 2 takes you right to the station and never has any traffic to speak of. I have to be on 128 for a few miles and that slows me down sometimes, but that's my only bottleneck now that Route 3 has been widened.

Definately take the T. After the game it gets somewhat annoying when thousands of people are all waiting, but it will save a good amount of money.

I always park in Davis Square (on the Red Line) and take the T in.
