        www.sports-heaven.com

news on mostly the redsox..but all other sports and teams as well.
The 2006 Boston Red Sox are better on paper then both the 2004 world championship team, and the 2005 team.
        Predictions:
        Josh Beckett wins 23 Games
Mike Lowell has a bounce back season
Kevin Youkillis will be exposed as a bench player, nothing more.
Curt Schilling will have his worst season, ever.
Coco Crisp will create more runs then Damon did in 2005.
Trot Nixon will be on the DL 3 times.
Keith Foulke will lose Closers job to Hanson by June.

And the Boston Red Sox will win 99 games

          Papi's Pizza

While attending a hockey game, up in Everett I found this gem of a pizza joint.

          http://www.northsounddining.com/inde...rreview&id=836

Great pizza and cheese steaks. Owned by a big Red Sox fan, who is from Boston. They offer in person updates of Red Sox games, but sorry no internet updates, which is what this thread is all about.

I just ran across this blog, and it is pretty informative stuff.

                  http://mvn.com/mlb-redsox/

Anybody else ever use MVN? It looks like they do all the major sports and teams.
"I believe in the Church of Baseball. I tried all the major religions and most of the minor ones. I've worshipped Buddha, Allah, Brahma, Vishnu, Siva, trees, mushrooms and Isadora Duncan. I know things. For instance, there are 108 beads in a Catholic rosary and there are 108 stitches in a baseball. When I learned that, I gave Jesus a chance." ~Ron Shelton, from Bull Durham

Article stated that Nomar was on the juice and wouldn't accept a World Series ring. I love the Sox more than I love Nomar, but he's a good guy and his reputation shouldn't be tarnished by having his masculinity challenged by calling him "Mr. Hamm".

Silva, the blogger for bostondirtdogs, in my opinion, is lewd, politically partisan, and now inaccurate. I love baseball humor, even if it's considered distasteful. But with his legitmacy having been acquired by the Boston Herald, he I agree with the posted article that there be some standards of professionalism followed by legitimate reporters.
Good post. I was never a fan of Dirt Dogs, but my brother loves that site. He thinks most people don't get the whole intent of that website, but I'm hoping he doesn't advocate this kind of behavior.
