    Reggie wanted out of Boston badly. IMHO, the trade that really made no sense was Cecil Cooper for George Scott after the 1976 season. Cronin-Pee Wee is interesting, in that Durocher got pressured to play more himself, rather than use Pee Wee in 1940, but instead gave way. And Johnny Pesky was a pretty good shortstop back then as well.
