Yes, I'm very excited about the new season - I just hope Clemens and this seroids cloud don't continue to rain down for too long.

Me I say it can't go on long enough as long as it keeps dragging the Yankees down with it.

I think more than anything it's dragging all of baseball down with it.

Yeah I agree. I am ready for baseball news to be about whats happening on the field, and not in congressional chambers.

Word is that Okajima has added a two-seamer. This should be fun to watch!

On the Manny front, he's pledged to report on time this year.

A two-seam no-look pitch sounds cool. I think that Oki should just never look at the batters at all to really freak them out. He could use sonar to locate them...

The bad news about Manny is that he was talking about getting to the car show on time...
I need to email that bozo, I sent him $99,999,999.99 via Paypal for his BBQ grill and he never shipped it!!!!

Manny reporting on time...maybe they will have all their starters there on time and ready to go early for once!!!!

I wonder if it has anything to do with the upcoming Japan/LA trip...

Ah, spring training, finally a decent reason to celebrate Feburary 14th! Sure beats that damn Halmark holiday!

The first day of spring training is the end of what a good friend of mine coined "the dark time"....those cold, baseball-less months between the end of the World Series and the start of ST. :cap:

C'mon, there's enough steroids talk elsewhere to choke a horse.

THIS is what this thread should be about.... Spring Training Pics

The thread title instantly reminded of the Will Ferrell sketch from SNL in which he's singing that song on a revolving platform that's going too fast and he loses his lunch...it's OK, he'll get it back!

Doesn't it seem like yesterday that the Bosox steamrolled their way to the WS win??

Thanks, hellborn. You really lightened my day, which was getting pretty heavy until I saw your note.
