I agree I thought that was the best light our prez has been in a in a while. Whatever you think of him, the dude loves baseball. In the grand scheme of things, I am more offended by the original posters sig line, than the president's joke.

I agree it did seem funny, and the people in the room must have thought so as well because the Manny line got a good laugh from everyone. It's pretty clear to most people who have actually heard the joke that it was an obvious joke.

Despite what you might think of him, Bush has been funny on occasion.

It was gracious of our President to honor the team this way. It looked like everybody was enjoying themselves. What an honor for each and every one of these men to meet the President of the United States.
