    Back in it again...

The Sox won tonight and are back in the postseason again, they win at least the Wild Card with a simmering but fading chance at the division...

    Let's hope this isn't a repeat of 2005!

Finally a postseason without the Yankees. Hopefully the Red Sox can pull some miracle run out and win the division because the Rays seem like the only team who can consecutively beat the Angels and how cool would a Red Sox/Rays ALCS be? A new rivalry I can already suspect.

      EDIT:
As I re-read my post..the Rays are up 7-5 (and counting) in the eighth inning.
      Those Rays are killin' me.

Considering the injuries they've suffered, the Manny mess, and the fact that they've introduced several young players to the team in major roles, making the playoffs again is a nice accomplishment. The division title would be nice, but they need to really focus on lining things up for the playoffs. If the division comes, great. If not, I'd rather have the rotation lined up and position players rested for the ALDS.

More like 2007, where the Red Sox enter playoff with dominate starting pitching.

I think recent playoff history alone should have the Angels hoping the Rays collapse over the final week. The only team I'd say that has very little chance is the White Sox. That's if they can even hold off the Twins.
Dustin Pedroia was asked what the Red Sox need to do to turn it around. They have lost six straight and 14 of 21.
“I don’t know. I’m not a magic person. I just play second base,” he said.

We'll need beckett, dice-k and Lester do their best. That will be the key.

I feel your pain mate, I've been suffering because of the Devil Rays too

The Rays are a good team and I think they have a good shot at the World Series. To be honest I hope the Red Sox are able to avoid them as we seem to have a habit of losing against them...
