  • Man Rams leaving

According to my wife (baseball insider she is), the only reason Manny Ramirez would ever play good defence is to leave. Everyone knows he cant field for poop. So, why all the highlight plays from Man Ram? He's making a concerted effort to field, to show prospective clubs he can. Everyone knows he has a way plus arm.
HOW DO PEOPLE GET AWAY FROM 300/40/130? I wish the Tigers had that. Craig Monroe (plus whatever) for Manny Ramirez. Anyway Boston goodbye man ram.

So you're saying that Manny will be leaving Boston for Detroit because he's now auditioning his arm out for them specifically? If so, then who'll be traded for him, and when would this take place?

NO not Detroit in specific, I just hate Craig Monroe. But my wife sees through the minutia and she thinks Man Ram is gone. I actually think she's right. Tell me shes a sooth sayer when it happens?

Manny usually plays decent defense, the problem is he screws up routine plays. I wouldn't read too much into it.

Ever since Manny came over to Boston in '01, all his teammates, coaches, even the writers say that he is one of the hardest workers on the team, taking extra outfield practice, and sincerely wants to improve his defense. He's not auditioning; he's just trying to improve his weak point (though so far this year his defense is outshining his offense by several degrees...).
