    Russ Kemmerer pitched for the Red Sox in 1954, 1955 and 1957. He went 5-3 with two complete games and a shutout for the team in '54.

    Russell Kemmerer ... former MLB player,completed his final innings in the game of life on Monday December 8th 2014. ...

    He signed his 1st Major League contract with the Boston Red Sox at the age of 18. His big league career spanned a total of 11 years pitching for Boston, Washington,Chicago and Houston. Following his retirement from baseball, Russ's passion for his fellow man led him into the ministry ,where he pastored several area churches.

    NORTH ATTLEBORO — Allen Ripley, a colorful professional baseball player in the 1970s and 1980s, has died.

    A former Boston and Pawtucket Red Sox, Ripley was part of an informal group of counterculture Red Sox players known as The Buffalo Heads who clashed with team management.
