What trades (if any) do you think the sox could make this season? What area will you think will need improvement? (hopefully none) Who would be involved, and what type of player(s) would we get in return?

I'd love to get another solid arm in the pen, I think we're definetly lacking a legit left-handed reliever outside of Cotts, otherwise I love this team to death, we got speed on the bench (a key), power in the lineup, speed in the lineup too, not much else change other then getting that solid arm in the pen.

I don't see the Sox making any trades of huge significance anytime soon, but at the same time,K-Dubb isn't afraid to pull the trigger on a deal of some kind.

The Sox are going to give lefties Javier Lopez and Chad Bentz long looks in the pen this spring.

Yeah I'm not too sold on either of them nor the Arnie Munoz train. I've seen more than enough of him (258 ER against the Expos)

            trade

I don't imagine any big trades either, because we have such a balanced team. Of course, contreras' contract ends after this season, and we do have 6 starters. I really have no clue what KW is thinking about our future rotation, cuz we already have the brilliant 6, plus Lance Broadway, Ray Liotta, and Charles Haeger, but I'd really liked to know.
Everyone talks about another lefty specialists type guy in the pen, but I don't think we exactly need one. Politte and Cotts can dominate lefties, and it's not like Marte was a big part of last season. It would be nice though to get another one.

I agree that we need another lefty in the pen. Other than Cotts we have really noone. This is really the biggest weakness I see, and I really think their a very well balanced team, possibly better than last years.

This is still the team to beat. The SP is deap and the pen is balanced. Maybe a little short on the left side.

I don't know what to think about the Alex Cintron acquisition. Last year, the Sox won regardless of their heavy losses to injury. If either of both SS Juan Uribe and 2B Tadahito Iguchi go down, Cintron and Rob Mackowiac is a good IF.

The OF appears o be a weak link. Hopefully, the CF situation is better than I think it is.
