Sox-Diamondbacks Trade
The White Sox traded RH reliever Jeff Bajenaru to the Arizona Diamondbacks for versatile utility infielder Alex Cintron.
Cintron batted .273 for Arizona last year with 8 homers and 48 RBIs in 122 games.He played 39 games at short,32 at third,and 23 games at second last year.
Cintron,along with Rob Mackowiak and Pablo Ozuna give the Sox some added depth in the infield.
Bajenaru spent parts of 2 season with the Sox,going 0-1 with a 9.24 ERA in 12.2 total inning in 2004 and 2005.He was 4-6 for AAA Charlotte in 2005 with a 1.41 ERA and 19 saves.
