theres a nice hotel about 5 blocks from Wrigley..the Best Western Hawthorne Terrace...you can take the red line from Addison to Sox/35th St ( takes about 20 minutes ) if you wanted to stay on the North Side for the duration of your trip

I'm not sure such a place exists in Chicago. If it does, it's not a very nice hotel or neighborhood.

There is by O'Hare, then you drive to the train.

            Rosemont

I'm not sure what may be found closer to the stadiums, but I have stayed out in Rosemont often for $100 and less. My clients had turned me onto some of those places. Most are close enough to the airport that they will be okay with shuttling you to the train as well as the airport. Even better though if you have your own car.

If you stay by O'Hare you can take the blue line into downtown and transfer to the red line to get to either park.

Hotels might even have shuttles that drop you off by the train.

              Check out priceline.
