I say Uribe , he has more MLB experience than Iguchi and has a better bat.

Its true with the MLB experience, but Iguchi was amazing in japan with a good number of years too, + hes got an equal or better bat, but thats just me talking...

I'm not sure yet, because I havent seen much of Uribe this spring. Iguchi was awesome in the #2 spot, and would be again, but hes used to being more of a power hitter, so if he hits around#7, he could easily hit 20 homers, and a much higher average.

I tend to agree with the fact that Gooch has a better bat, mostly because Uribe has always been a free swinger.

There's no question Iguchi is a better 2 hitter than Uribe. I thought Ozzie wanted to move him down in the order so he could drive in more runs. Seemed odd to me, but why not? I don't know if Uribe has the discipline to bat in the 2 spot.

I think Iguchi has the power and potential to hit 30 longballs this season.

The way things are going right now in Arizona, there's some speculation that this experiment of flip-flopping Gooch and Uribe could be headed for the scrap heap.

Iguchi has strggled big time at the plate from the 2 hole. He's currently batting .130 this spring.
