This is by far the biggest series of the year for both teams. The way Detroit has been beating the Sox, I'd be happy with a split.

Well, too late for a split. My heart sank when I learned Gavin Floyd was starting last night's game. I've about given up on him, I wish the Sox would, too. Now they have to deal with Verlander tonight.

Well it wasn't easy but the Sox got the split and there up three games in the standings.
