Whitesox sign Peavy

The Whitesox got him for another 2 years with a 3rd year option. I thought for sure he would be gone. I guess the Sox are gonna make another run at the Division this year by keeping him.

I'm surprised some of these guys stay with the Sox for what I assume would be less money. The bad thing about this is it probably mean Pierszynski will be gone.

I'd much rather have the 32 year old top of the rotation starter over a 36 year old catcher.
