Huh?
We are batting LESS that .210 after the 7th.....this is a choke team that cant hit........Hafner is doggy doo....batting .211.....only our steller pitching is keeping us afloat..........
CAvYou can't sit on a lead and run a few plays into the line and just kill the clock. You've got to throw the ball over the $%#%! plate and give the other man his chance. That's why baseball is the greatest game of them all. ~Earl Weaver

Well,
Im thinking that a leadoff man for a team batting around .238 to .240 should not, will not, and could not win an MVP. This team is way past a "slump" or "bad luck", its a no hitting team that lacks any punch. I say we needed another bat last year.....looks like Im correct. I say we need at least 1 more bat this year....prolly two......dont bet against me. Pronk is a shadow of his former self, we have little power, we strike out a ton, and we have closers with no heart.......other than that....we're ok.

Well
Alright. Averages are just that averages. It means it is what you normally do. This team is hitting well below average. As a result they will eventually hit far above their average to make up for it. It is just the way it is.
Grady does have the opportunity. On the other hand Victor Martinez who finished 7th in AL MVP voting. Will be very hard pressed to get many votes this season. No homeruns in the middle of May. That is not the norm. He needs to get back on track.Alex Chengelis

The tribe will never catch up to a normal seasons avg.......they would have to hit 290 or so the rest of the season.........odds zero
