What a problem to have. Curtis may be the one that sacrifices his batting position...taking one for the team. Ultimately Leland will make the decision. My only concern is with Leland, he is constantly tinkering with the lineup for the sake of appeasing Thames and now apparently Inge.
I would go back to the old ball when the backups came in late in the game defensively or when someone was injured. I don't buy this thing that players are tired. Let's face it everyone in the lineup will go through a period of not hitting the ball for a few days. But they shake it and come back. Inge and Thames both had long periods of not hitting the ball.
