This is a minor league contract. I think it is a good signing. It will give the bullpen depth, and another lefty if needed later.

It looks like he only comes in for one inning at a time, and never closes games. His ERA has been under 3.00 for 2 of the last 3 years. And there's no such thing as too many lefthanders.

He wnet 4-3 with a 2.62 ERA with the Indians last season, and he went on the DL. He had a Byrdak-like Spring Training, so the Tribe released him. This is a minor league deal, so he can work the kinks out before he is needed.
