Ryan Raburn - .073, 0 HR, 0 RBI in 46 PA's
Ramon Santiago - .167, 0 HR, 4 RBI in 27 PA's
Brandon Inge - .056, 1 HR, 2 RBI in 18 PA's
This thread may be a little immature, but as you can see, NO ONE is hitting. Raburn is still considered the starter, but his at bats this season have been terrible. Is it too soon to be looking for help at the position? Raburn is the best hitter in the bunch, Santiago is the best fielder, and Inge is somewhere in between.
I read that the Padres are close to releasing Orlando Hudson. Although he isn't the player he once was, he could bring a veteran presence to the position, and he might steal a few bases.
