      Or the Minute Maids.
They call me Mr. Baseball. Not because of my love for the game; because of all the stitches in my head.

I like Rustlers, but it probably wouldn't fly due to the criminal aspect...it'd be like having the Detroit Carjackers.

How about the Wranglers? Other than being a brand name of jeans and sounding a bit too much like Rangers, I think it's cool...

Using a stolen chant from Boston Celtics fans whenever an L.A. team is playing up there just reeks of inferiority complex.

If hitting a baseball is the toughest thing to do in sports, then pitching must be the easiest thing to do in sports.

why, there is nothing wrong with the name energy
just like the marlins, they can use a crazy logo

and their new slogan can be
EN e Rgy is Our Name or ENRON

they can rename the stadium back to enron field

and put up an andersen sign

and people will again ask WHY

It will be a dark day in MLB history if a team is ever given a non-plural nickname like they have in the NBA and NHL. The "Sox" in Red Sox and White Sox doesn't count as singular because it's merely an alternate spelling of "Socks."

I agree with Hellborn, Energy is really boring. I wonder if Energizers would be any better?

Is the Houston MLS team still called the Dynamo? If so I think Energy would be too close to that..we get it your city produces energy think of something else or preferably dont and just stay as the Astros
Lets Go Yankees, Valley Cats, Dutchmen, UT Spartans and ECU Pirates.

It seems to have been missed but it was reported today that the Astro's owner has come out and said that due to the large volume of negative feedback they are no longer considering a name change.

Good: The owner responded to the fans.

Bad: The owner is so out of touch that he actually thought this idea would fly in the first place.
