Nolan Ryan is my pick. On the list, I'd put Dean Chance instead of Clyde Wright.

Up until about 10 years ago Ryan was the easy choice. I'm going with Chuck Finley now for his overall work and long career with the Angels.

I really wanted to go with Finley and his 14 seasons with the Halos, but Ryan's star power was too much for me.

Very true! He also stands a very good chance at breaking the single season saves record this year.

102-78, 117 ERA+. I could certainly understand how he could receive a few votes. .567 winning % and the best K/BB in team history. He pitched very much in Nolan Ryan's shadow.

Tanana was an excellent pitcher for those teams in the '70s, but he definitely was/is stuck in the shadow of Ryan.

While Finley does have a strong case, I still have to give the decision to Ryan. He averaged 17+ wins per season and had 7 strikeout titles in eight years with the club.

Nolan Ryan is certainly the most noteable pitcher in Angels history. I believe Chuck Finley has to be considered as well. 165 wins, 2675 IP, 118 ERA+.
