        Metropolitan Stadium

        Here is a photo from 1984 showing metropolitan stadium and the former home of the NHL Minnesota North Stars The Met Center.when i was there in 1987 to see a hockey game all that was left of the baseball stadium was a hole in the ground.

          If I recall correctly, in the Mall of America (built over where the MetCenter and Metropolitan Stadium used to stand) they have home plate enclosed in glass and they still have the seat that was painted red to mark Killebrew's longest home run there . . .
          I'll tell you one ******' thing, I hope we get ******' hotter than ****, just to stuff it up them 3,000 ******' people that show up every ******' day, because if they're the real Chicago ******' fans, they can kiss my ******' ass right downtown and PRINT IT!
