  • Will Johan Santana ever have a season better than 2004?

    simple question

This is going to be his age 27 season. I see no reason why he can't have a 2.40 ERA, 11 K/9, 1.5 BB/9 season.

Yes. He was very good year last year too. Has many years ahead of him, has great stuff, so he could have another flawless season with out a doubt.

Santana surely has the ability. The next few years he should learn more and more and get better, if thats possible. He has the stuff and isn't going to lose it anytime soon. He is a very special player. The Twins are lucky to have him.

Now with this Francisco Liriano guy the Twins were able to steal from the Giants, you could have the second coming of Yohan Santana. He has the stuff. He just needs to learn a little more control and how to pitch basically. That could turn out to be one of the steals of the decade for the Twins if Liriano turns out how people are thinking he should.

Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic.-Crash Davis

Santana needs to avoid the injury bug. He's on the road to Cooperstown. 2004 was just a breakout, not the standout for him.
