  • Cycles by the Twins

Can someone please post all the cycles by Twins players over the time the franchise has been in Minnesota? Cuddyer had one tonight.

    Thank you!

Since moving to Minnesota, the Twins have had a total of ten different players hit for the cycle one time apiece. They are as follows:

    Rod Carew 5/20/70
    Cesar Tovar 9/19/72
    Larry Hisle 6/4/76
    Lyman Bostock 7/24/76
    Mike Cubbage 7/27/78
    Gary Ward 9/18/80
    Kirby Puckett 8/1/86
    Carlos Gomez 5/7/08
    Jason Kubel 4/17/09
    Michael Cuddyer 5/23/09

Thanks Commish. I didn't realize this was merely the second cycle this season for the Twins!

I was lucky enough to witness both. Sadly, Kubel's has spoiled me. After the go ahead grand slam to complete the cycle, Cuddy's triple was rather uninspired.

Anyone else here lucky enough to witness any of the other Twins cycles?

That was kind of a long gap between Puckett and Gomez.

I was wondering if anyone recalls seeing both Hisle and Bostock do it in '76?

I wasn't at the games, but I saw the last 3 live on television.

I was surprised Cuddyer was able to get a triple when he hit it down the LF line. But Ryan Braun was nice enough to not hustle after the ball. Seriously, who hits a triple to left?
